JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from September 14 through September 20. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.

The Knights brought home both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time this season. Olivia Parmer was named the offensive player of the week for the first time this season and the second of her career. Lily Ames earned the defensive player of the week honor for the first time this year and the second of her career. 

The Senior from Cincinnati accounted for all of the scoring in a top-25 showdown, netting all three goals of a 3-0 win for No. 2 Marian over No. 23 Northwestern Ohio. Parmer unleashed five shots in the win, putting four on target.

On the defensive end, the Senior from Romeo, Michigan, recorded five saves in a shutout victory for No. 3 Marian. Ames notched her third shutout win of the season via MU's 3-0 win over No. 23 Northwestern Ohio.

Marian will be back in action on Wednesday, September 23rd, as they host Huntington to open up Crossroads League play and honor the 2026 senior class at 7 PM.
